Dr. Tim Lloyd is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Florida Board-Certified Addictions Professional, and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 30 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, clinical leadership, and faith-integrated counseling.

His professional journey began in ministry. Before entering clinical practice, Dr. Lloyd served for more than a decade as a senior pastor, an experience that continues to inform his approach to mental health treatment. Drawing upon both theological training and clinical expertise, he is committed to integrating spiritual perspectives with evidence-based practices while maintaining the highest standards of professional care.

Our Mission

Why We Exist

To transform lives through world-class mental health and addiction treatment — delivered by licensed professionals who integrate the healing of mind, body, and spirit.

We serve adults who have experienced complex trauma, substance use, and the weight of lives marked by pain. We believe every person who walks through our doors carries inherent dignity and the capacity for profound transformation.

Our Values

What We Stand For

Clinical Excellence

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of evidence-based practice. Every modality we use is clinically validated and delivered by licensed, credentialed professionals.

Faith Integration

We believe the truths of Scripture speak directly to the human experience of suffering, shame, and redemption. Faith is not an add-on — it is woven into every aspect of care.

Dignity & Respect

Every participant is treated as a person of immeasurable worth. We create environments where people feel safe, seen, and honored — regardless of their history.

Whole-Person Care

Healing is not merely the absence of symptoms. We pursue restoration of identity, relationship, purpose, and hope — the full flourishing of the human person.

Community

Recovery happens in relationship. We cultivate a culture of belonging, mutual accountability, and genuine care among participants, staff, and families.

Confidentiality

We protect the privacy of every person in our care with the utmost seriousness, maintaining strict clinical and ethical standards at every level of the organization.

Faith Philosophy

What Faith Integration Means at Immersion Care

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Psalm 147:3

Faith integration at Immersion Care is not about imposing belief. It is about recognizing that human beings are spiritual creatures, and that the deepest wounds — shame, broken identity, loss of meaning — often require more than clinical technique to heal.

Our pastoral counselors work alongside licensed therapists to address spiritual wounds with the same care and rigor applied to psychological ones. Scripture, prayer, and theological reflection are offered as genuine therapeutic tools — not as religious obligation.

We serve people of Christian faith and those who are spiritually curious. We do not require a particular doctrinal position. We do believe that the God who heals the brokenhearted is present and active in the work of recovery.
