Our Commitment

Quality Assurance, Clinical Excellence & Ethical Care

Immersion Care is committed to delivering Virtual IOP services that are safe, evidence-based, and consistently high-quality — so participants and families can feel confident in the care process.

Quality Assurance

A System, Not a Promise

At Immersion Care, quality is built into how we design, deliver, and evaluate treatment.

  • Standardized clinical protocols to support consistent, evidence-informed care
  • Ongoing clinical oversight through supervision and review of treatment delivery
  • Structured documentation practices that promote clarity, continuity, and accountability
  • Regular program and clinical evaluation to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participant-informed feedback (when appropriate) to strengthen the experience and outcomes

What participants can generally expect

  • A consistent schedule and structured programming
  • Clinician-led support and group-based treatment activities
  • Clear communication expectations and defined participation standards
  • Periodic reviews of goals and progress, aligned with clinical judgment

Licensure & Standards

Licensure & Standards

Immersion Care provides mental health and substance use disorder services at the intensive outpatient (IOP) level of care. Our substance use services operate under the exemption provided in Florida Statutes Chapter 397, and our mental health services are delivered by individually licensed clinicians practicing within the scope of their Florida Department of Health licensure. Because our programs operate outside DCF's licensure framework, Immersion Care is not licensed, certified, approved, or endorsed by the Department of Children and Families and does not appear in DCF's licensed-provider directory. Every clinician who delivers care here, including those providing SUD-related case management, holds an active Florida license and meets the qualification criteria applicable to their role. That structure places responsibility for quality squarely with us rather than with an outside licensing body, and we take it seriously: defined governance, credential verification for every clinician, documented supervision, and clinical policies aligned with recognized IOP service-level standards. We welcome questions about the qualifications of anyone on our team.

  • Compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and privacy protections (including protections consistent with HIPAA where applicable)
  • Appropriate training and supervision for clinical and operational staff
  • Policies and procedures that support safe documentation, participant safety, and risk-aware clinical operations
  • Continuous quality improvement driven by internal review and participant feedback

Accreditation commitment: Immersion Care is actively evaluating and pursuing recognized accreditation options. We continue to hold ourselves to high standards now and will update the website as accreditation steps are finalized.

Ethical Practices

Ethical Practices & Participant Safety

Ethics are central to how we treat people — not only in therapy, but in every interaction. We aim for respectful, transparent care with privacy and safety protected throughout the program.

  • Confidentiality and privacy protections for participant information
  • Professional, respectful, non-discriminatory care
  • Clear communication and transparency about program expectations and clinical processes
  • Strong professional boundaries and responsible documentation
  • Safety-centered clinical decision-making, including established escalation procedures when concerns arise

Concerns & Feedback

How We Handle Concerns and Feedback

If you or a loved one has a concern about services, we take it seriously and review it promptly and respectfully.

  • Submit a grievance or concern via the Immersion Care Contact Page
  • We will review the information and follow our internal process for next steps
  • When appropriate, we will communicate outcomes and corrective actions in a timely manner
Your feedback helps improve program quality.

Governance

Governance & Continuous Improvement

Quality assurance requires oversight. Immersion Care uses clinical and operational review processes to evaluate services and continuously improve the delivery of care.

  • Clinical leadership review of protocols and delivery standards
  • Supervision and training to support competence and consistency
  • Program-level evaluation to measure effectiveness and refine workflows
  • Process improvements aimed at participant safety, clarity, and better outcomes
